Kumo Cosmo was founded to create a warm, welcoming space where anime and gaming fans, especially women, can connect, express themselves, and thrive. Our name reflects our vision: “Kumo” (cloud in Japanese) evokes comfort and softness, while “Cosmo” (universe) represents our diverse, ever-expanding community.
Our mission at Kumo Cosmo is to cultivate a safe, inclusive, and empowering community for those who love anime and gaming. We’re dedicated to creating a virtual space that focuses on bringing the convention experience to those who may want to continue the fun or to those who may not be able to attend in person events for whatever reason. We offer tools, resources, and a space that encourages self-expression and creativity.
We shine a light on shoujo anime, cozy games, creators, and relevant events. We also host virtual panels and gatherings that foster connection and meaningful dialogue. Rooted in our core values, safety, support, friendship, creativity, and inclusivity, we are especially committed to uplifting underrepresented voices in these spaces.
